It’s been AGES since I posted about Kids in the Kitchen. My boys were tired of participating so I just gave up. James has recently rekindled his interest in cooking so we may be coming back! In the meantime, I received an email about Rachael Ray’s Yum-O Cooking Camp and thought you’d like to know about it.
PotsandPans.com – an online resource since 2000 for exploring and purchasing trusted kitchenware brands offered by Meyer Corporation, U.S. – is sponsoring Rachael Ray’s Yum-O! Cooking Camp, a two-week long series of free cooking classes for kids and families with Rachael Ray and friends.
Rachael Ray’s Yum-O Cooking Camp
Beginning today, Cooking Camp will run daily from Thursday, July 30 through Friday, August 14. Registration is required to participate. and camp will take place at 2pm EST / 11am PST on Zoom. The interactive virtual cooking classes are targeted to 8-15 year olds. The 16 camp sessions will each be 45 minutes long, and include Rachael Ray and friends, such as the following celebrated personalities from Food Network and the Cooking Channel:
- Valerie Bertinelli
- Anne Burrell
- Giada De Laurentiis
- Bobby Flay
- Duff Goldman
- Alex Guarnaschelli
- Carla Hall
- Buddy Valastro

Be Prepared
You will receive a confirmation email following your registration and an additional e-mail within 48 hours of the class, which will include the Zoom link, recipe, ingredients and necessary cooking utensils. Prior to class, we recommend getting organized by preparing your ingredients and gathering your cooking utensils. This will allow you to easily access all necessary ingredients and materials during the demonstration to best cook along with your chef. Thorough preparations will provide a more enjoyable experience!
Share Your Creation
Did you have fun in the kitchen this week? Did you try a new food or a new kid-friendly restaurant? Did your little ones use their snacks to count to 10? I’d love to see your creations on social media, with parental permission, of course! Share your experiences, photos, stories or recipes that include your #KidsintheKitchen! #RRCookingCamp is the official hashtag for the Camp.
