Last week Colin told us he wanted to make s’mores over a fire but it’s been WAY too hot (and far too dry) to have a fire so my husband suggested we try to make s’mores nachos. A few days after I’d purchased the ingredients we needed, the boys and I threw these puppies together!
S’Mores Nachos
Ingredients
- Graham Crackers
- Mini Marshmallows
- Mini Chocolate Chips
Instructions
-
Break your graham crackers (at least) in half and spread them out on a jelly roll pan. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips on top of the graham crackers, then top with a thick layer of mini marshmallows.
-
Bake at 475* for about 3-4 minutes.
-
(You could broil them, if you wanted, but baking worked for me.)
What’s your favorite s’mores dessert?
Did you have fun in the “kitchen” this week? Did you try a new food or a new kid friendly restaurant? Did your little ones use their snacks to count to 10? We invite you to share your experiences, photos, stories or recipes that include your #kidsinthekitchen!
Come join me each week by linking up a post, new or old, that features the theme Kids in the Kitchen. It doesn’t matter what you are doing as long as you are doing it together, enjoying it and learning something along the way.

S’Mores Nachos is a great idea, going to try it in the winter (we still have weather for outdoor s’mores in Michigan).
Thanks Sara!

Oh – yummy! I like ANYTHING that has a s’mores flavor – I just saw in the Target ad this week they have s’mores candy corn, I’m so going to buy some!

I’ve tried it! It’s not horrible, but I don’t think it tastes like s’mores.

I haven’t eaten lunch yet and I just might skip it to make some of these. Looks so yummy!

I like the idea of these over regular s’mores because there’s always too much chocolate for me in normal ones.
I can’t believe you found yet another way to make s’mores 😛
