**Full Disclosure: I receive perks as part of the San Antonio Zoo’s blogger ambassador program, Zoo Troop. In exchange, I post about my experiences. All opinions are my own.
It used to be so easy to put matching pajamas on the boys so we could go look at Christmas lights while we drank hot chocolate. Matching pajamas don’t come in their sizes anymore but as they get older, it’s more and more difficult to get the boys excited to do things that I’d like to do. Thankfully, they still love the zoo so San Antonio Zoo Lights is an easy sell!
About Zoo Lights:
Open daily November 18 – December 31 from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m., Zoo Lights is a nighttime holiday tradition for the whole family! Stroll under an array of twinkling lights while you sip hot cocoa, roast s’mores, ride camels and enjoy our Lakeside Lightshow. Plus, visit Santa and tell him what’s on your Christmas wish list. And, a new dining experience is coming to town! Book in advance to have a catered dinner with Mrs. Claus and her helpers, the elves!
The boys legitimately had fun at dinner with Mrs. Claus! They played in the ‘snow’ outside the diner while we waited to go inside, decorated gingerbread cookies and posed for pictures without a single complaint.
Mrs. Claus’ Diner:
Spend a magical evening with Mrs. Claus and her friends, the elves! Available select dates November 18- December 31 at 5:00 p.m., Mrs. Claus invites you join her for story time and a delicious holiday feast at our Riverview Restaurant. Serving up all your Texas favorites with chicken fried chicken or carved sirloin roast, and herb butter mashed potatoes, Texas style green beans, sweet potatoes and a dinner roll. Afterwards, the little ones can get creative and decorate a cookie, or two, with Mrs.Claus. Plus, head over to Santa’s Workshop after dinner for a complimentary* family photo with Santa!
