Today is the first official day of summer for my boys so it’s hard to think about the 4th of July. But the all-American holiday will be here before we know it. We usually spend Independence Day eating and playing with friends & family. What’s better for a 4th of July party than American-made treats? Goetze’s Cow Tales are just the thing!
About Goetze’s Candy:
Goetze’s Candy is a 5th generation family owned company located in downtown Baltimore, MD. Founded in 1895, they are celebrating their 120th Anniversary of making sweet treats in the USA. Since the 1940’s, their staple product has been Caramel Creams®—a soft, chewy caramel wrapped around a decadent cream center—a unique and recognizable product that has been a tasty, iconic American treat. In 1984, Goetze’s Candy introduced Cow Tales®, an elongated version of the classic Caramel Creams®.
Colin and I tested out a recipe for Cow Tales Cupcakes … and we will definitely be making them for our 4th of July get-together!
These Cow Tales Cupcakes are easy to make and pretty tasty, too!

Awe, those are so cute! I absolutely love Cow Tails. Some came in a pinata mix bag of candy that I bought for my son’s birthday and I have to admit that I took a few. 😉
