You can’t see our peppers or onions yet, but the zucchini squash is doing AWESOME! And, we have FOUR mounds with 4-5 plants each. We need to find friends to share with!
Happy Wednesday!
Hi! I am Sara Phillips from Sensibly Sara. I write enjoy sharing super simple recipes, easy-to-make crafts and fun-filled travel on my blog. Most days you'll find me at my full-time job at an elementary school, getting in a Camp Gladiator workout and/or driving through Chick-Fil-A for a tea. In my (very little) spare time, I enjoy photography, playing games and spending time with my family and friends who are like family. My husband and I live in San Antonio, TX with our two kids and four cats.

Lucky duck! It’s still too cold here for us to do anything.
Oh boy – looks like you will have a great harvest! Time to pin some recipes!
I wish we could grow longer! I’m so jealous! We still can’t put plants in for about a month!
That would make me so sad! Are you going to plant anything?
I wish I lived near you, I would gladly take some of that zucchini squash off your hands! What a great garden you’ve got going.
We always have to give some away – it’s just more than we can use!
Very nice plants! I can’t wait to start our garden! We have to wait until at least the weekend after Memorial Day, we always have a late frost.
Awesome! I wish I had a green thumb!
I really can’t take much of the credit. My husband has more of a green thumb than I do!
We have the worst luck with zucchini plants (and squash in general). Squash vine borers and rhino beetles have invaded our garden and won’t leave us alone. When we finally thought we found a spot the bugs weren’t in – a rabbit took off with the zucchini plant.
Well, if I see you, you are more than welcome to some of ours! We always have more than we can use!
You can send me some! π I have the blackest thumb.
My daughter is having fun planting seeds.
I would so take some off your hands if I lived closer!! I bet they are going to be delicious. π
I can’t wait to make zucchini bread!!
Wow, you have baby plants already!! I have not even started my garden.
I got my plants in the ground this week! They’re growing fast!
Awesome! I love seeing the plants sprout, especially garden plants or veggies!
Those are looking good. It won’t be long before you will have a garden full! I can’t wait for ours to produce.
Im so jealous! I wanted to plant a garden but Im confident that the squirrels and chipmunks would get it before I could.
Why hunt far? I’m right here π
If we have some the weekend of AdventureCon, I’ll bring you some!!
Planting can be so rewarding. Love zucchini!
We so miss our garden w/ fresh veggies. I hope you have some stellar zucchini recipes including zucchini bread – yum!
Definitely zucchini bread! And I saw zucchini patties on Pinterest the other day that looked awesome! I am not sure what else.
Grow plants grow!
That is so awesome!! They really are growing good! I’m hoping to get our garden going but unfortunately done have much of a green thumb!
I got my garden cleared out two days ago. Now I need to turn the dirt, get some seeds and plant! Can’t wait to see more of your garden progress as it grows.
Oh fun! What will you plant!?
For sure tomatoes. I did those last year. I definitely want an herb garden because they’re ridiculously expensive to buy. I have to sit down and figure it all out. Probably this weekend.
HOW fun!!! (Also – how did I not realize you live in SA???!) I can’t wait to see more of your garden photos through the season! I really need to container garden or something…. We go through veggies like crazy, and finally live in a climate that can support growth.
You should!! Did I read you are in Dallas? My sister is in Rockwall! I am up there at least a few times a year!
We just moved from Dallas to Fort Worth…. We should do a blogger meetup sometime. π There are tons of us out here!
Awesome! I know quite a few bloggers up there – but I am usually just there for a few (family) days. A meet-up would be FUN!
