It’s no secret that I like quick and easy dinners for my family – especially on busy nights. I mean, who doesn’t, right?! Quick chicken dinner recipes are my favorite, though, because chicken is a healthy protein.
For a long time, I refused to buy frozen chicken. It was fast and easy, but it wasn’t delicious. Though, after an in-store demo for Tyson’s Homestyle Chicken Fries, I was willing to give them another go. Tyson’s Chicken Fries were easy to spot in the freezer case next to the demo. And, if you came from the other direction in the store, you’d notice the DEMO arrow on the glass before you saw the nice lady handing out cups of samples.
We were having friends over for a s’mores party, so Colin and I picked up a bag of the quick snack chicken to prepare for dinner. We made one bag of chicken fries (you’ll find two sealed bags inside the package). And I created my own (rather spicy) version of Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian Sauce.
The kids went crazy for the chicken fries!! James had at least 15 and Colin had about 8. My husband and I thought they were pretty good, too. I really enjoyed the crisp breading. They didn’t taste like the same frozen chicken I’d stopped buying.
Now, I am not a “saucy person” so I didn’t actually try this, but my husband said it was a spicier than the real deal. He enjoyed it, though.

I bet its the amount of worst. sauce in the recipe. Next time cut it in half. 🙂 it all sounds yummy, though. I love polynesian sauce from chick fil a.

I LOVE this sauce! I’ve had it on chicken (twice) and even burritos with a little sriracha. Delicious! In the words of Guy Fieri, I’d eat this on a flip flop!
