My dad’s burgers are the best but we don’t live close enough to have them every time we want a burger. So, my family and I have come up with what we think are the top burger restaurants in San Antonio!
Top Burger Restaurants in San Antonio –
~Bracken Store Cafe~
1 Retama Parkway Selma, TX 78154
Bracken is far and away my favorite burger restaurant! Their burgers are HUGE (seriously – I split one with my kids, mom or sister when we go!) and their prices are very reasonable. Each burger is made to order. Bracken Store Cafe doesn’t have long hours, though, so make sure they are open before you head out! (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday) Also, it’s cash or (local) check only, so make sure you are prepared! I love the small-town feel of this burger place.
~Chris Madrid’s~
1900 Blanco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78201
There are six varieties of burgers and two sizes, regular and Macho size. Fresh cut french fries, nachos, chalupas and a 6 oz. grilled chicken sandwich fill the rest of the menu. There are no combos here. You’ll need to order your burger, fries and drink separately. Chris Madrid’s motto has always been to “cook each item as if you were cooking it for a friend.” They are open Monday – Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and are closed on Sunday.
~Nineteen17~
