When James gets home from school, the only thing on his mind is FOOD! If I have time, I’ll get the after school snacks made before he comes through the door. But most days he has to find and make his own snack which is why I keep Bagel Bites and Delimex Taquitos on hand!
Bagel Bites and Delimex are pretty easy to find and reasonably priced at Walmart, so when I am there, I pick up a couple boxes of each.
Bagel Bites are made with real cheese and homemade sauce with 0g trans fat which makes them a good after school snack! Plus you can add your own toppings and customize them to fit your kids’ desires.
James grabs the Bagel Bites as his after school snack more often than he does the Delimex.
He opens the box.
He puts the snack food in the microwave.
He pulls the Bagel Bites out of the microwave and lets them cool on the stove top.
And then he eats his after school snack!
James really likes the Bagel Bites. Sometimes he even shares with Colin because there are 9 bites in each package (with 2 packages in the box)!
We could make Bagel Bites even more exciting by topping them with chopped veggies and/or diced meat(s).
I really like that there are after school snacks that my boys can have/make without my help. It means James is learning to be self-sufficient and reliant. It also means I can spend more time cleaning house, creating fun crafts or making dinner.

I like adding veggies to mine too. Bagel Bites make a great & easy snack that my kids just love!
My kids love taquitos. They are also ravenous after they get home from school. 🙂
I loved these bagel bites as a teen dipped in ranch. I should let my kids grab these, but we need them in bulk!
Confession: I like Bagel Bites for myself! My boys aren’t in school yet, but sometimes we have Bagel Bites on hand for rushed lunches.

A healthy balanced snack is so important! I love giving the girls hummus and veggies or a mini sandwich. I’m sure they’d love those dressed up with fresh veggies and some grilled chicken …
I love Bagel Bites entirely too much. They are just so delicious. Too delicious to share with my kids 🙂 I am kidding. I made them their own.
