For my family, there is only one way to end a busy week full of work, chores and early bedtimes – a movie night! Most of the time it’s just the four of us but movie nights are even more fun when we invite friends over. Either way, you can’t have a movie night without fun snacks like Movie Night Brownies!
The Hotel Transylvania was great movie and my kids were ready to see the second. So for our most recent movie night, we invited friends over to our ‘hotel’ to watch Hotel Transylvania 2 with us. I wanted to be the perfect host, so before they arrived I made a batch of Movie Night Brownies. They are a sweet & salty snack that combine M&M’S® Chocolate Candies, Orville Redenbacher popcorn and brownies to create a treat that every monster will love! I like to pair mine with a Coca-Cola for the full movie night experience.
Walmart sells all the items (Orville Redenbacher 6 pack Movie Theater Popcorn, M&M’S® Chocolate Candies, Coca-Cola 6-pack and Sony New Release movies like Hotel Transylvania 2) you’ll need to make your movie night a success.
Hotel Transylvania 2 was such a great movie! The kids laughed through most of it and enjoyed the movie night brownies, too!

I like the salty sweet combo, but the best way to eat a brownie is with ice cream and chocolate and caramel syrup on top.

Mmmm, that totally works for me. There’s something about chocolate and popcorn that marries very, very well. Add a movie and it’s perfection!
Eliza Ferree says
Well you have all three of my favorites there: popcorn, brownies and chocolate. Honestly I don’t think I could mix popcorn and brownies though but I’d totally eat them in one sitting. I am going to try tossing M&Ms in my next batch of brownies though. Popcorn doesn’t like me lately or I might try it. We loved the movie, in fact I think it is one I will be buying.

I like to put Milk Duds on top of just popped popcorn. Makes Milk Duds melty, so good. Learned this from a friend but she did it with plain M&Ms. See how adding this to brownies much like it . Or could mix small brownie bites in w popcorn and candies. Love the chocolate w popcorn, sweet vs salty.
