October is National Chili Month so it’s the perfect time to pick up Progresso’s newest product(s) – Progresso Roasted Vegetable Chili with 3 Beans is a meat-free option that includes tomatoes, carrots, roasted corn, red and green bell and poblano peppers and onions; and pinto, black and dark red kidney beans. The other two flavors available include Smokehouse Pork and Beef Chili with Beans and Southwest Style White Chicken Chili with Beans.
I purchased all three chili pouches but I’ve only tried the Roasted Vegetable Chili so far.
Out of the package, it smells delicious. After heating the chili, it smells even better! While I used crackers to eat my chili, you could use rice, corn bread or tortilla chips. I left my chili as-is, but try Progresso chili with a variety of toppings – anything from Queso Fresco, salsa, cilantro crema, Greek yogurt, Siracha or guacamole. Add crunch and flavor by using banana peppers, jalapeños, onions, limes, tortilla strips, bacon or cornbread croutons. Or go crazy and top with shaved chocolate, crumbled tater tots or sauerkraut!
Progresso Chili and Stews are available for purchase in the soup aisle and have a suggested retail price of $4.49 per 20-ounce chili pouch and 18-ounce stew pouch.
Grab a printable Progresso coupon for $1 off when you purchase 3.
