Cooking with my boys is the highlight of my day (or, let’s face it, week). As they get older, they are less willing to help me any time I ask. I have started to require cooking with me once a week from each kid. That means lots of quality time, mandatory learning and the occasional bit of fun!
While I didn’t get any pictures of James helping (he doesn’t like it and I have to respect his privacy, I guess!), he and I made Chocolate Bark a few weeks ago.
He moaned and groaned about helping but this recipe takes roughly 10 minutes {not counting the cooling time} so it wasn’t too bad for either of us.

The hardest part of making chocolate bark is waiting for the chocolate to harden so you can enjoy your snack!
