Kids in the Kitchen: Krispy Kreme Family Night

Every week my friend Colleen shares Free Fun in San Antonio.  I first read about Krispy Kreme’s Family Night on her blog a few weeks ago and I knew I had to take my boys.  I finally made the event a priority and we attended this week with some friends.

Once inside Krispy Kreme, we immediately spotted a station set up for kids to decorate their own donuts.  Kids are told to flip their donut over and hold it like a claw.  Then they dunk it in the chocolate, shake it off and cover it with sprinkles!  It was really fun to watch James and Colin make their own snack.

I tried talking them into sharing, but they didn’t.

Kids are also given a craft and games (crossword puzzles for us) to do while they are at Krispy Kreme.
