**Full Disclosure: I was provided with a chef kit & a Sam’s Club gift card in exchange for this post. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
I love that my boys are (mostly) willing to prepare their lunches. This week we made Flatout Flatbread pizzas. Colin wanted pepperoni and James wanted cheese. They were super easy and the boys ate really well (mostly because they made them, I think!).
I like Flatout Flatbread because they have half the calories and half the carbs of two slices of traditional Whole Wheat bread.
Flatout Flatbread is now available at Sam’s Club! They are available in two packs for $4.88 and come in Flatout Light Original Wraps and Flatout Multigrain Wraps.
If your Flatout Flatbread isn’t used before its 18 day shelf life expires, they can be frozen for up to four months!
You can use Flatout Flatbread for anything from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to salad wraps to pizzas. I think it would be really fun to make pinwheels with the flatbread!
Have you tried Flatout Flatbread before? What do you make with it?
Did you have fun in the “kitchen” this week? Did you try a new food or a new kid friendly restaurant? Did your little ones use their snacks to count to 10? We invite you to share your experiences, photos, stories or recipes that include your #kidsinthekitchen!
Come join me and my co-hosts, Melinda at Look What Mom Found and Paula at Frosted Fingers, each week by linking up a post, new or old, that features the theme Kids in the Kitchen. It doesn’t matter what you are doing as long as you are doing it together, enjoying it and learning something along the way.
- preparing healthy snacks
- having a tea party
- counting skills with m&ms
- pouring from measuring cups
- discovering a local restaurant that your kids love
- creating new family friendly recipes
Don’t have a blog? That’s ok! Just share an Instagram photo or Facebook update.
GOOD LUCK!
