Do you ever look at your Thanksgiving leftovers and think ‘What am I going to do with all this extra food?!’ I do it after every holiday. So much leftover meat and so many sides but no one wants to take leftovers home with them. I have the solution for us you! Individual Leftover Pies are a great way to use up the leftovers without feeling like you are eating the same thing for a week (or more) with the added bonus of saving a bit of money because you won’t have to purchase groceries!
I always make sure I have Kraft Shreds and Kraft Mayo on hand but I am especially mindful at Thanksgiving because you never know who will want it. Plus, these individual leftover pies aren’t nearly as good (I don’t think!) without mayo and cheese. I grab mine at Walmart when I run in for a few last-minute necessities.
Individual Leftover Pies #ad #TasteTheSeason
Ingredients
- Leftovers - any or all!
- 1-2 ounces Kraft Shreds per pie
- 2 tsp Kraft mayo per pie
- For the recipe photographed I used broccoli rice casserole, diced turkey and a few craisins.
Instructions
-
After dinner, decide what you want to use for your individual leftover pies.
-
Mix the Kraft shreds and mayo with the leftovers you plan on using.
-
Fill ramekins 2/3 full.
-
Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
-
When you are ready to eat the leftover pies, bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until bubbling.
-
ENJOY!
In a bowl, mix as much (or as little) as you want together. Some food ideas for your individual leftover pies: ham, mashed potatoes, corn bread soufflé and green beans. But really, these pies are completely up to your imagination and will be different each time they are made! The Kraft mayo is in the dish to keep it moist and delicious – you definitely don’t want to skip these ingredients!
When I made these up to share with you, my kids wouldn’t keep their hands off of them! Colin told me how yummy dinner smelled and James wanted to taste it right then. I let James sample the leftover pie when I was done with photos. He said it was really good. I have to admit, I was a little surprised because he isn’t usually a fan of broccoli.

I used to love sandwiches. Pile on the stuffing and cranberry sauce but I can’t do bread anymore so I love the idea of using the Kraft Shreds and Kraft Mayo to make these pies. I need to find some small containers like yours to make them for the kids lunches.
Sara Phillips says
You can buy those little containers (without lids) at any big box store. They’d make a delicious lunch for kids, too!
Kecia says
We usually eat them as-is or make turkey sandwiches. I like this pie idea because they are individually served, so you don’t over eat the leftovers!
Marina says
My kids would love this any day over a leftover roll or mish-mash casserole. Have you noticed how anything in a cute mini sized serving or something on a stick or anything with a straw in it, always gets kids excited?

My kids aren’t huge on leftovers, so this is a great way to ensure the food doesn’t go to waste. It becomes something new and delicious!

That is a creative way to turn leftovers into a different, yet delicious recipe! I’ll have to try this.

I love Thanksgiving leftovers so I’m okay if they don’t all go home with everyone else. I usually make up plates that I can freeze with a meals worth of food and freeze them for nights that I need something quick, or for lunch. These are great to have on hand during the Christmas craziness!
I love the idea of the pies so I may make a few of them. I agree, everything is good with cheese!
Stefany says
I really love the idea of individual servings like this. It makes it fun! I don’t do much with leftovers except sandwiches. I need to up my game!
Digna D. says
What cute little bowls! Love them! We usually just eat leftovers as is, for the rest of the week until they are gone. It gives me and my hubby a break from cooking so we can spend time doing other things.

I love those little heart dishes. I actually just did this yesterday with some left over chicken pocket filling. I just topped it with breadcrumbs to give it a little topping.

Thanksgiving leftovers are usually eaten in sandwiches in my house. Man this is so much more creative, though.

I love those heart dishes! !! I usually make a huge batch of soup after Thanksgiving but I like this idea of mini leftover pies. I’m going to experiment with that this year 🙂
