Glade® Limited Edition Winter Collection seasonal scents make me feel good because they evoke the warm fuzzies associated with the people and the things I love about the holiday season. I am always looking for new ways share joy. Creating a Glade® holiday basket was just the thing to cheer up a good friend!
I wanted the basket to include items that would put my friend in the holiday spirit so I went to H-E-B and bought everything I needed:
- Glade® Jar Candles: Be at Peace™, Cherish the Present™, Send a Little Love™ and Share the Spirit™
- 1 large serving bowl (with lid)
- Cake mix
- Frosting
- Non-alcoholic drinks
- Basket
After I purchased everything I needed, I went home and made a Spiced Cream Cheese Bundt Cake, inspired by the Glade® Cherish the Present™ candle.

The spiced cream cheese bundt cake smelled amazingly delicious when I pulled it out of the oven. Part of me wanted to keep the cake for myself but I knew I couldn’t do that. I’d worked hard to create a festive surprise for my friend so I packaged everything together in a basket.
I used a large plastic lidded serving bowl to transport the cake. I used the lid as the base and the bowl as the cover. It worked perfectly! (Just make sure you push the bowl all the way down on the lid or you’ll have a mess.)
Then I drove the surprise to her house and shared the joy of the season with her!

Gift baskets are the BEST gift. I always end up making a bunch of them for Christmas and Glade candles usually make their way into at least a few of them 🙂

We did it. We went with an artificial tree. And although I miss the scent, I don’t miss the mess. I need to pick up some Glade products so I can have the smell of the holidays again!
