Not long ago I was at Target and saw cute little Bunny Bags in the Dollar Spot. I had no idea what I was going to do with Bunny Bags, though, so I opted not to buy them.
Then inspiration struck. I was going to create my {Target-inspired} Easter Bunny Placemats!
These fun little Easter Bunny Placemats are inexpensive and oh-so-easy to make! So easy, in fact, that you’ll be able to make them before Sunday.
How to Make Easter Bunny Placemats:
Supplies –
- Felt – 2 Pink, 1 Blue & 2 White (per bunny)
- Wiggly Eyes
- Pink Pom-Poms
- Elmer’s Glue
- Glitter Glue
- Scissors
Directions –
- Cut ears from a piece from the white felt. I did a free hand rounded V-shape.
- Cut the inner ears from a piece of the pink felt. Again, I made a free hand rounded V-shape, but a smaller version.
- Glue the ears together and then to the back of a piece of felt.
- Cut 2 blue felt circles, just bigger than the wiggly eyes.
- Glue the felt eyes onto the ‘face’ felt and then glue the wiggly eyes on top.
- Glue the pink pom-pom on as the nose.
- Using the glitter glue, make whiskers on the ‘face’ felt.
- Let everything dry.
- Use as an Easter Bunny Placemat!
We haven’t tested our Easter Bunny placemats just yet and I am a little worried the nose will get in the way but they are just so cute! And, they are cheap enough that I can make new ones each year and not worry about storing them.
