Two things I can’t get enough of are cheese and bread. Combining the two to make Cheese Puffs Bread ( Pão de Queijo) is heaven!
Cheese Puffs Bread (Pão de Queijo) is a Brazilian recipe I got from a friend. I don’t know where it has been all my life but I can’t get enough of little bread rolls! They are a chewy, practically bite-sized, deliciously addictive bread that puff when you bake them. Bonus: It’s also gluten-free!
It’s easy as 1) measure ingredients, 2) blend until smooth and 3) bake. But be ready – when the cheese puffs come out of the oven, you aren’t going to want to share!

I know what you are thinking, ‘Where in the world do I buy tapioca flour?’ I found the Bob’s Red Mill brand at my local grocery store near the all-purpose flour. It was less than $4 about 20 ounces.
I won’t tell you how many Cheese Puffs I ate out of the first batch I made, but I will say I’ve made them a couple of times (with different cheeses) since I got the recipe. They are so yummy!!

If one lived in a small town in the middle of North Central Iowa, where would I find Tapioca flour? Can I substitute anything else? These look amazing and easy too!

Amazon (http://amzn.to/1BHXe1D). But check your flour aisle – you might be surprised!

I would happily eat them by themselves, but I’d also like them dipped in marinara. I actually have some of that flour in my house, so yay!

They look like a lot of fun. I’m game for anything cheese. I’d be like you though and end up eating them all myself.

You are speaking my language. These look and sound incredible. I don’t have any tapioca flour on hand, so I’ll have to pick some of that up.

Wow do those look good! And I’m intrigued with their shape. They look like little hot air balloons. Hot air balloons that fly into my belly.
