I’ve told you time and time again, but we love to entertain. Part of entertaining is providing food for our guests. Sometimes I go all out and make a dish that means something to me. Other times, I just want to do something simple – like throw a DiGiorno pizza in the oven – so that I can spend time with our company.
Last week, we made plans to have my parents over to watch some championship games. When we’d worked out the details, I headed up to Walmart and bought three rising crust pizzas – two Four Cheese and one Supreme. They were easy to find and they were $4.50 each (on Rollback)!
Things changed though, and we headed over to their house. Because I already had the DiGiorno pizzas, I told my parents we’d be in charge of dinner. Lucky for me, DiGiorno pizzas travel well!
When we got there, Mom had the oven preheated. Since we didn’t have to wait for the oven to heat, the cook time a little was even less than I was prepared for! Football is something I enjoy watching, so I don’t want to miss out because I am busy in the kitchen. Making DiGiorno pizza for dinner allows me to watching the game!
The Four Cheese pizza was a huge hit! The Supreme was good, too, but my Dad & kids wouldn’t touch it. The packaging said the sauce was new. I don’t remember what the ‘old’ sauce tasted like, but the new was good!
What city is your favorite football team located in?

Jason loves The Giants even though they didn’t do very well at all this year.Must be a NY thing 😉 I haven’t tried the “new” DiGiorno pizzas yet but we have to make a trip to Walmart sometime this week so I think I will pick one up for next weekend!

I love to keep some DiGornio on hand – it makes a great meal when short on time.

We are Bears fans here except for the hubby who is a Redskins fan. That pizza looks so good! I haven’t had Digiorno in years.

Your Dad looks like he really enjoyed that pizza! I wish they made a gluten free one so I could do pizza more often at home!

Maybe that’s something they are still working on. It sure would be nice for a large percentage of society!
