**Full Disclosure: I test drove the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL for 7 days for review purposes. No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
The only thing Colin really wanted for his birthday this year was a review car and a trip to Krispy Kreme for donuts with friends. Luckily, Mitsubishi had the 2016 Outlander SEL available for review the week of his birthday and the rest was a piece of cake donut!
The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander was delivered on Colin’s birthday so I picked him up from school in the car. I was impressed with how quiet the Outlander was. Colin loved that the vehicle was blue and had a 3rd row in the back.
For his birthday day, we piled into the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander to meet Grandma & Geezer for Colin’s dinner of choice (Cracker Barrel). A few days later, we picked up a couple of Colin’s friends and went to Krispy Kreme for donuts. It was so good to see Colin enjoy the things he really wanted for his birthday!
Colin is young and very easy to please so the big question is did I like the Outlander and would I purchase this vehicle for myself. Simply put, yes!!
The big selling points (for me) on the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander:
- It’s a fun crossover!
- It’s priced at under $25,000.
- Seating for 7 with a 3rd row seat that folds down to make more cargo space.
- It has dual climate control (a must for my husband and I!).
- Cup holders for days! I know this seems silly but we have cups and water bottles in the car at all times and it’s nice to have somewhere to put them.

Wow, from the outside I never would’ve thought that vehicle has seating for 7! I’m very bad at knowing about cars LOL. It sounds like a fun way to celebrate his birthday!
