Can I tell you a secret?
I don’t love pork. Well, I love bacon! But I don’t like pork chops, pork tenderloin and that kind of thing. And neither does my husband! But when I saw Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking at Walmart, I wanted to try them and I thought pairing the Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock with pork chops would be a great idea!
I’m also not a big on complex meals. When a friend gave me her recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Chops, I tweaked it so I could include the Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock from Campbell’s and make a weekend meal on a weeknight schedule.
Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops - thick cut & boneless
- 2 cartons of Cambell's Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 1/2 cup flour

- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
-
Empty one carton of Cambell's Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock in your slow cooker.
-
While the oil heats in a skillet, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and ground mustard.
-
Dredge pork chops in the flour mixture and sear both sides.
-
Place pork chops on the soup.
-
After all the seared pork chops are in the slow cooker, cover them with the other carton of Cambell's Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock.
-
Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
-
Serve and enjoy!
I do love easy meals, though, and this recipe won’t fail you in that regard!
Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking come in four flavors – Savory Portobello Mushroom, Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock, Sweet Onion and Mexican Style Tomato.
I made orzo to go with the pork chops and served it with a side salad in under 30 minutes!
The soupy sauce was a delicious success, but we are still not a pork chop family. Next time, I am going to make this recipe using chicken instead of pork!

I do pork chops in the crockpot all the time, no need to sear them. That is an extra and messy step!

I use soup in so many casseroles I make. I love to do pork chops in Cream of Mushroom soup over pork chops 🙂 so yummy!

How fun to meet another San Antonio blogger! My blog is The Weekend Gourmet. My mama made a dish like this in the oven growing up, and I haven’t had it in years. I think I need to change that with my box of the mushroom soup!
