**Full Disclosure: I received Midori Gift Wrap and Ribbon in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
Wrapping gifts is not my favorite thing to do because I am not good at it. My packages always end up looking like a two-year-old wrapped them. I usually let my boys help me wrap (unless the gift is for them) so that I can say, ‘oh yea, James and Colin helped me with that!’ It’s a great way to shift the focus off the dreadful folds, seams and piles of tape.
Midori sells beautiful gift wrap and ribbon for every occasion. The gift wrap is handmade from recycled cotton fiber.
About Midori:
MIDORI is a lifestyle brand that inspires, enchants and immerses Ribbonistas in the vibrant world of MIDORI with every ribbon and design. We are driven by a mission to redefine creativity and promote a lifestyle full of truth, diversity and passion.
MidoriRibbon.com was created as a virtual destination for all Ribbonistas to get creative and get inspired through celebrating individuality and unveiling diamonds in the rough. This inspiration is the backbone of the MIDORI brand, infusing a fresh mindset into the elegance and distinction that is synonymous with the MIDORI name.
Midori gift wrap comes in sheets – rather than a roll – and is incredibly easy to use. However, if you are wrapping an extremely large gift, these sheets might not work for you. You could piecemeal it together, though! The gift wrap is very sturdy, which will be good for my home because my kids like to touch, move and handle presents from the time I put them under the tree. I wasn’t sure how well tape would hold, but I didn’t have any problems. I love the thickness – especially on the white paper – because you can’t see through it.

Want to hear a secret? I hate wrapping gifts. Probably because I STINK at it. It is always a wrinkly, baggy mess, and my robbons end up as knots. But, with this beautiful paper, I’d give it to my husband to use. He is my secret weapon- he LOVES to wrap, and is good at it. I love that gold pattern.!

I used that gold patterned paper as a backdrop to photograph my Nut Clusters! I LOVED it that way, too!
