**Full Disclosure: As a member of the Stream Team, I was provided a Netflix subscription and an iPad Mini. No compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
My boys are 10 and (almost) 6 so milestones come less frequently than they used to but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped celebrating those achievements! Both kids have a milestone box (similar to the one at the bottom of this post) but rather than filling it with memorabilia, they put in little toys they love. I guess that’s ok! I’ll add the things I think are important when they think they’re too old for those boxes.

How do you celebrate milestones?
Elizabeth Ferree says
Ice cream! No, but yes sometimes we celebrate milestones with ice cream and a movie. On a Netflix note the youngest and I now spend the day watching Super Why on Netflix.
Liz Mays says
Photos are the biggest way I capture them, but a special movie is a great idea! I sure do love my Netflix!
Elisabeth says
I’ll have to save this and watch some with my little sister!
Lisa @ Crazy Adventures in Parenting says
I love these ideas for shows and movies to celebrate milestones. Man, parenting’s just so bittersweet, isn’t it? More milestones means the more they’re growing up 🙁
Nina Say says
We recently introduced our kids to The Mighty Ducks. It makes me sad to say they didn’t enjoy it as much as I did.
