I have been traveling a ton the last few months.  Jumping on a plane to go to Phoenix, Dallas or Destin is fun because I’m excited to get where I’m going.  I pack books, my phone and computer and plenty of snacks.  But once I’m on the aircraft, I can only read for so long before I drift to sleep.  When I’m startled awake by the person next to me bumping my elbow, I pull my computer out of my bag and bring up Netflix.

1. The Blacklist – After turning himself in, a brilliant fugitive offers to help the FBI bag other baddies, but only if rookie profiler Elizabeth Keen is his partner.
2. Young & Hungry – A female food blogger is hired as a personal chef by a young tech tycoon and faces a new menu of challenges, both inside and outside of the kitchen.
3. Grace and Frankie – Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin co-star as two women forced to reinvent their lives in this funny, honest new Netflix Original series. Elegant, proper Grace and freewheeling, eccentric Frankie aren’t friends, even though their husbands Robert and Sol (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) have been law partners for decades. But when Robert and Sol announce that they’re leaving their wives for each other, the two women start to bond in ways they never expected.
4. Melissa & Joey – Single politician Mel hires unemployed stockbroker Joe as a live-in “manny” (male nanny) when she is made guardian of her niece and nephew.
5. How I Met Your Mother – Ted’s epic search for his soul mate is told largely through flashbacks, as an adult Ted recounts to his kids how he met their mother.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – A hilarious comedy series starring Ellie Kemper (“The Office,” “Bridesmaids”) as a woman who is rescued from a doomsday cult and starts life over as a nanny for a socialite (Jane Krakowski from “30 Rock”) in New York City. Armed with just a backpack, light-up sneakers and a couple of past-due library books, she takes on a world she didn’t think even existed anymore.
7. The Prince & Me – When sparks fly between a college freshman and one of her classmates, she’s clueless that he’s actually a Danish prince spending a year in America.
8. Maid in Manhattan – Sparks fly when a chambermaid and a rising politician literally collide at a posh New York City hotel. The only problem? He assumes she’s a guest.
9. Fools Rush In – An uptight New Yorker impregnates a blithe-spirited stranger by chance, leading to rushed wedding plans and a culture clash between their families.
10. Chasing Life – Adapted from a Mexican telenovela, this drama series about an ambitious young journalist takes a dark turn when she’s learns that she has cancer.
