The hotel I stayed at while I was in San Diego was The Andaz. It was modern and kind of swanky. I really liked it!
Have you ever stayed in a hotel with a shower in the center of the room?!

I actually LIVE in San Diego and have never heard of the Andaz! haha. But cool shower! I don’t think the rest of the guests would appreciate this view…but whatever. LOL 🙂
It’s really close to the Broadway Pier … I want to say 5th and Market? (I could be way off on that guess, though!)

Swanky indeed! I dig it – I’ve stayed at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, AZ and it reminds me of The Andaz! Very hip and trendy.
Love the clean design of the hotel, very modern.
Wow, I don’t think I’d like a shower in the middle of my bedroom! The bed looks nice and comfy though 🙂

No but the last hotel we stayed in had a shower built for 10!! It was huge!

oh wow. the Rio I thin is Vegas had a decent sized window into the shower from the main area of the suite and since I was room sharing with my parents as an adult that was rather awkward. Not a fan of this style lol
I am only a fan of this style when I am there alone … MAYBE with my husband!
I stayed at the W in West Hollywood and we had one of those “sexy” peek a boo showers, too. Freaked out some of the bloggers since we were traveling with our kids. Luckily they came with a way to draw a curtain over them.
That would have been nice … there was NO curtain here. Luckily, I was alone. But I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to share that room!
I don’t usually see wood floors in a hotel room. That is just STUNNING!
I guess they assume that you won’t have kids staying in the room with you :). Or even a close friend for that matter. I may share a bed with someone but that doesn’t meant I want them watching me shower. lol
I know it! From what I heard, though, not all the rooms had a see-through shower.

Nope, I personally have never stay any where that had a shower in the center of the room. Looks very cool though. Love the photos. 🙂
