I was up at my sister’s house earlier this week. She has this gorgeous garden spider in her front yard. We threw a grasshopper into her web so she could eat. It was really amazing!
Let’s be clear, though. While I think this garden spider is beautiful, if I saw it in my home, I’d have to kill it. I’m glad it’s at my sister’s house!

Cool spider. We had huge garden spiders when we lived in South Dakota the first time. I haven’t seen any like this in California and I am kind of glad about it.
