**Full Disclosure: As part of the Windows Champions blogger program, I was invited on an all-expense-paid campus tour event. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Here are some photos I took while I was in Seattle:
I went up, but I only went this close to the rail for a photo and then I was quickly back up against the building.
This rubber fish cost $2000 to make! There is a string on the tail, so if you get close, be prepared for it to ‘jump’ and scare you!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
Great pictures! I love the farris wheel one.
Eeeeks that rubber icky at the end looks so slimy but all the other photographs are GORGEOUS!!!
OMG the fish isn’t real?
Nope – crazy, right?
Beautiful photos. I need to go to Seattle!
gorgeous photos! Well except for that nasty looking fish, lol!
Love Seattle!! I’m so bummed we didn’t get to meet up. I think MSFT took great care of you though – it looks like a fabulous trip. (You hit all the spots I’d recommend, even the underground!)
I think we are going to try to come up to Walla Walla this summer, I’ll let you know if that happens!
Sara, you look beautiful! I love all those pictures and you are right, does look monsters inc~
I used to live in Seattle – these pictures brought me back. It really is a great place to visit.
Did you see the troll under the Aurora bridge?
Oh, and that fish scared me the first time I went…
I don’t think I saw the Aurora Bridge …
Thanks so much for the wonderful images. They are amazing!
Your pictures are gorgeous!
Great photos! I love Seattle.
Fabulous photos! I love the ferris wheel. And so jealous of you getting to go to Seattle!
This looks like so much fun. I am glad you had fun. Love seeing all the different pictures.
I can totally see you backing slowly up to the railing for the picture and then running away ๐ I’ve never been to Seattle but I’d like to some day.
That’s almost exactly what happened! ๐
Great pictures and it looks like you had so much fun!
The Aurora bridge is the big bridge (hwy 99) just North of Seattle – it goes over Lake Union. You could probably see it from the Space Needle.
Someone created a huge statue of a troll underneath the north end of the bridge. He is so big that he is actually holding a REAL VW bug in his hand. It is just a fun things to see – a quick photo op (really quick, usually, because it is hard to find parking).
Something to look forward to for your next trip.
Oh yea, definitely didn’t see that, but I will look for it next time I go! Sounds fun!
Looks like such a fun trip โ that glass sculpture feels like it’s actually alive and moving!
All your photos are so lovely, until I got to the rubber fish. Scary! and pricy!
Awesome pictures. We lived in Seattle for about 8 months and it was the time of my life. I’d give anything to go back.
