**Full Disclosure: The SkyDeck provided me with 2 passes to visit while I was there. No compensation was received. Full review coming soon!
I am absolutely NOT a heights person. I don’t like them. Not one little bit. But, I wanted to prove something (still not sure what!) to myself while I was in Chicago … and that lead me to the SkyDeck! I really wasn’t sure I could handle it, but …
I DID IT! (With a ton of help & encouragement from Lisa.) I couldn’t be more excited & proud of myself!
Happy Wednesday!

I am such a heights chicken – I backed onto the SkyDeck and didn’t look down! But the views out from an opaque floor were GORGEOUS. I might even do it again! π

OMG! I saw this on TV a while ago – good for you for finding the nerve to do this! This would be freaky, but I’d do it so I could have the experience. The view is awesome, it’s just the “Looking down” part that would be weird, lol.
Marina says
Yikes. Lady you are so brave. I would not have been able to look at that deck let alone stand on it!
Sara Phillips says
Lisa held my hand, I took a few steps (backward) onto the platform and she took my pictures. I couldn’t look down! (And I didn’t look at the picture of my feet until a few days later!)

I’m not sure I could walk out there, with that glass floor. While I am not afraid of heights, It would dizzi-ing to look down from that.

That would be so fun… in a terrifying way. I’m so afraid of heights. I’m a big chicken, but I like to think that I could be brave and step out on the Sky Deck. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. π

A friend held my hand and I looked at her while I backed out onto the deck … that’s all I could do! I didn’t look down OR out while I was up there!
