This is my necklace. If you ever see me in person, odds are, I’ll be wearing it!
From left to right: My husband gave me the butterfly, my Grandparents gave me the dime, and I bought myself the verse.
I have an entire charm bracelet with other special pieces, but I don’t wear it as often since it’s jingly!
Happy Wednesday!

I’d love to know the story behind the dime 🙂

My grandpa had cancer and was trying to think of something special to do for Christmas that year. He had a collection of coins, and wanted to make a pendant for everyone. When he and Grandma finally decided on the dime, he contacted a good family-friend (who happens to be a jeweler) and had them made. Everyone got one for Christmas that year. My husband is not a jewelry wearer, so his is on a keyring.

This is such a beautiful way to keep meaningful pieces close to you! I love it!

I have a necklace that my dad gave me a cross for grammar school, and my mom gave me a heart & hubby gave me three diamonds. They are always around my neck. Thanks for stopping by. Yours is cool. I have a dime like that in my jewelery box.

I am in love with that butterfly! Does it have a message stamped on it, or am I seeing things? I like that the charms all have a special meaning to you and aren’t just trendy shapes. 🙂

The stamp says “Avery” (It’s a James Avery piece) it’s nothing to major!
