I was sent two coupons for the new Weight Watchers SmartOnes Satisfying Selections. I went and hunted them down in the frozen section of my grocery store, came home, stuck them in the freezer and planned to use them for lunch the next week. For me, they were super easy to spot in the frozen meal section. I think the red bag helps in being able to spot them.
One day I grabbed the Ziti with Meatballs and Cheese and popped it in the microwave. What a HUGE meal! Colin and I shared it for lunch because I couldn’t eat all of it on my own. The meatballs tasted SO much better than I expected, and they were super cute because they were smaller than I expected them to be. The noodles were a little more chewy than I would have liked and the sauce was a little sweet for me. But, all in all, it was a good meal. I don’t know that I would buy this one very often, but I would eat it again.
The next day, I made the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo. Again, a HUGE meal, Colin and I shared. The chicken was good – it wasn’t rubbery or “off” – it tasted like chicken! The sauce was PERFECT, the noodles tasted like I had just cooked them on the stove, and the broccoli was well-steamed! There was plenty of food and lots of broccoli. I would buy this meal package every week and it would probably never get old!
