**Full Disclosure: I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been pregnant or had a baby in the house. But Mom Voyáge has so many articles I could have found useful as a new mom! Two of my favorites were the birth plan check list and choosing a baby name.
When it came to choosing names for both of my pregnancies, my husband and I could not agree. For my oldest, we both liked the name James, but I wanted it as the middle name and he wanted it as the first. He won. And then with our youngest, we both picked 8 names we liked best. Neither of us liked what was on the other’s list! The hubs told me I could pick whatever I wanted but when I chose Brendan, he vetoed me. He gave in to the name Colin. We did both agree on Colin’s middle name.
I really like that the website is so clean and easy to navigate. I also think it’s really cool that I personally know two of their contributors – Lindsey and Kristina!
Have you ever wondered about the differences between cultural customs during pregnancy and after? Now you can get a global perspective on how different cultures name their babies, celebrate their pregnancies, view maternity leave, and many other Mom-inspired topics. With featured contributors from the Netherlands, France, Britain, Holland, Japan, China, Australia and the US, Mom Voyáge is a community of Mom bloggers sharing their experiences in motherhood from all around the world.
What would you like to read about on Mom Voyáge?
I think it’s pretty neat that you can check out pregnancy (and maternity leave!) info from other cultures and countries!
We’re done with babies too but I’m checking out the baby name page because my daughter is having a hard time picking a name for her new American Girl doll! 🙂
I love that!
Thanks for taking a peek and helping out with Mom-Voyage! I love working with them! 🙂
