I told you a few weeks ago, but we are a game-loving family! At least twice a week I make sure we have time for 30 minutes of games before the kids go to bed. We are pretty competitive, so Trivial Pursuit on the Hasbro Game Channel is great for feeding our desire to beat each other!
TRIVIAL PURSUIT Live! – Trivia fans can test their wits in this new take on the world’s most well-known trivia game. TRIVIAL PURSUIT Live! transforms the classic experience into a TV-show setting with reinvented question formats, customizable game lengths and a variety of game rounds and rules to keep players guessing.
I love that Trivial Pursuit has questions in each category that encompass a range of topics – everything from historical events to modern movies and music to sports (Which colors can be karate belt colors?). And because there is such an assortment of questions, my boys (and I) are learning while we play – and learning is something I am all for!
Colin teams with Daddy when we play, though, because he can’t read the questions quick enough. If he plays alone, he guesses on the answers and gets mad when he is knocked out for a round. So, I would recommend Trivial Pursuit to families with strong young readers or kids that can read quickly.
I’d like to brag a little and say that I almost always come from behind and beat the guys in my house but the day we played this game, I lost – BIG time! James is still learning to accept that he can’t win every game but we have a blast laughing at each other when we select wrong answers.
What’s your favorite Trivial Pursuit category?

We started game night this year. Usually it’s something on Wii, but we love Hasbro games too. Consoles get a bad rap, but my kids LOVE playing with us 1x a week on it. We also enjoy more traditional games, like Risk, Chess, Operation, etc.

We’ve always been a board game family, something I inherited from grandparents on both sides of the family and am grateful for… I think my family would enjoy trivial pursuit as we favor games with a learning component 🙂

I love trivia games! The Mr. knows so much random trivia I have told him it’s a shame he can’t be a professional Trivial Pursuit player, lol.

Our girls are 10 & 12 and love playing trivia games. Normally we play on our phones, but being able to play on a larger screen would be awesome for family game night.
