The weather is (FINALLY) getting cooler in South Texas, so we are able to go outside without breaking (much of) a sweat. It’s awesome! I just love this time of year – being in the outdoors, eating delicious food and enjoying family fun that happens in these few short months is something I cherish! (Especially when it’s 112* in June!)
I will be walking a 5K in December, so Colin and I head out three or four times a week and walk about 3 miles. As a family, we love to geocache (we call it treasure hunting with a GPS), play frisbee, walk the nature trail behind our neighborhood and have family game nights.
Some of our favorite fall meals include home-made chicken and dumplings, spaghetti & meatballs and salads with grilled chicken! Each of those meals makes my mouth water, but they are so easy to make because they only take about 30 minutes!
