My favorite thing about summer is that there is no SET anything. The kids and I go to bed when we want, we get up when we want and we do what we want when we feel like it. That being said, we love having get-togethers and enjoy time with our family and friends. We try to have some social even once a month. For me, the most difficult thing about those get-togethers is picking a party invitation!
I mean, how do you pick ONE of these:
They are ALL so stinkin’ cute!! The images above are just 3 of my favorites, but the top is probably my overall favorite … probably!
Other than get-togethers, we travel a little (not usually very far), swim, and find fun activities to do. Those activities are usually indoors because temperatures in the 100s are no fun to go OUT to play in.
