The UNpaper Towel {Review and #Giveaway} CLOSED

If you are like me, you buy a gigantic package of paper towels every month and you use them for EVERYTHING.  I love the convenience of paper towels, but I hate that I feel so wasteful.  And then I found The Unpaper Towel!

The unpaper towel is made of (cotton printed or stain resistant) fabric & cotton terry cloth and is same size as a paper towel.  There are 12 towels in a roll and they are totally washable.  Snapping together with plastic snaps and hanging out on your current paper towel holder, the unpaper towel is easy to use and convenient!

I’ll admit that I still use regular paper towels for things like wiping the grease off my hot pans and cleaning up cat barf, but that’s because I don’t want to get grease or barf on my unpaper towels!!  But, I am using the unpaper towel for basically everything else.  And my kids (especially Colin) ask for the “blue towel.”  If they are in the laundry and I hand him a paper towel, I get scolded.

Cost Break-Down:

It’ll cost you (about) $45 for one roll of unpaper towels.

I spend about $13 for an 8-pack of branded paper towels.  (Over the course of a year that’s $156!!)

So, if I can cut out branded paper towels altogether, I’ll save myself about $111 in the first year and about $156 every year after that (unless I purchase more unpaper towels)!!

What I LOVE:

  • They are very easy to wash, put back together and use.
  • I love that they fit on the paper towel holder I already have.
  • I really love that I am not wasting (as much) money!
  • I think it rocks that my family and I are being more environmentally friendly!

What I’d Change:

  • I’d add a 3rd snap.  I think they’d come off the roll easier that way?

    The stripes are my favorite. They’re bright and cheerful and they would match the calypso colors of my kitchen really well.

    i have wanted some unpaper towels for SO long, but haven’t been sure about the investment. i like the black and white geometric pattern.
