How to Make Your Vehicle Harder to Steal – One of the main reasons that vehicles are stolen is because they are either left unlocked or the owner leaves the keys inside the vehicle. Here are a few quick tips to make your vehicle harder for car thieves to steal:
Every time you leave your vehicle unattended for any reason, be sure to lock the doors, windows and trunk.
Even if you are parked in your driveway and need to run into the house quickly to grab something, always turn your vehicle off and take your keys with you.
Install an anti-theft device in your vehicle, such as a car alarm, electronic immobilizer, electronic tracking system, hood lock, kill switch, steering wheel lock and/or tire lock.
