The Little Mermaid was one of my (many) favorite Disney movies as a kid!  I couldn’t be happier that it’s being released from the vault on October 1, 2013!  The movie, which runs for about an hour and a half, is full of fun songs and great characters.  Scuttle (the seagull) was always my favorite!

The film was originally released in theaters on November 15, 1989 and is the 28th film in the Walt Disney Studios animated
features canon, and the first in the Disney Animation Renaissance.

    Ariel was my favorite character. I knew a woman who named her third daughter Ariel because her oldest was such a big fan and they let her name her, lol. 🙂

    Ariel is my favorite character. I love the part of the movie were Ariel has her ‘collection’ of forks and other human things. I remember taking my oldest daughter to the movie when it came out in the theater (yikes, she is 26 years old now!). I don’t think my grand-daughterhas seen this movie yet… I’ll have to ask her when she gets home from school! 🙂

    Sebastian was always my favorite. I especially love the scene in the kitchen when the chef was trying to stuff Sebastian for dinner. Makes me laugh every time!
