**Full Disclosure: This story is inspired by Shari’s Berries Sweet Something Campaign.
Having two boys kids can be rough. The ‘sweet something’ moments can be hard to come by – especially if I am not looking for them.
James usually wakes up smiling and full of (unending) energy. He is ready to go the minute he opens his eyes. He thinks he knows everything there is to know and no one else is ever correct. (Surely he didn’t get that from me!) James doesn’t show much affection but every once in awhile, he’ll say a sweet something about how awesome I am and it absolutely makes my day!
Colin, on the other hand, can be a bit of a bear if you make him do something before he’s really ready to do it. He gets up and sits on the couch for a bit before he is ready to do anything. Colin is very much a daddy’s boy. He’d like to spend every waking moment with dad so it’s not often I receive snuggles. But when I get those snuggles, oh boy do I cherish them!
How do you cherish the sweet somethings?
Erin says
How do I not? I love doing selfies with my sweeties to capture our smiles and love as we live in the moment.
Robin Wilson says
Now that my son is grown and gone the sweet somethings mean more than ever! I cherish every moment I have with him, every phone call as a sweet something and file it away in my memory bank to look at until the next one. Your boys are adorable and your love is so evident! 🙂
