It seems like snacking is my kids’ favorite thing to do. I feel like they are ready to munch again every time I turn around! With summer in full swing here, James and Colin have started to show an increased interest in making their own snacks. Because I wanted something that’s as easy for them to make as it is to eat, (with their help) I created these Strawberry Banana Snackety Splits!
My youngest son likes when I buy Snack Pack Juicy Gels, so I picked up bananas, Reddi Wip, 6 count Strawberry Super Snack Pack Juicy Gels and NEW Snack Pack Pudding Bars the last time I was at Walmart.
Like I said, Strawberry Banana Snackety Splits are easy to make. Let me show you:
Snackety Splits Step-by-Step Directions:
- Gather your ingredients – Snack Pack Juicy Gels (strawberry), a banana & Reddi Wip. Snack Pack Pudding Bars are optional.
- Gather your utensils – spoon and knife
- Open the Super Snack Pack Juicy Gel (60% more!).
- Use your spoon to break up the Snack Pack.
- Add a bit of Reddi Wip and mix in.
- Slice up about half of the banana and mix it in.
- Optional: crumble the Pudding Bar and mix in.
- Top with a little swirl of Reddi Wip.
- Serve and Enjoy!
Strawberry Banana Snackety Splits are beyond easy to assemble. It took about 2 minutes for my boys to whip them up with limited help from me.
Of course, you could serve up the Super Snack Pack Juicy Gel (60% more!) without the bananas with a Snack Pack Pudding Bar on the side, too!
The options are endless!

Cutest. Idea. Ever!
What kid (or adult) wouldn’t love those? They sound awesome.

I love that this snack was creative and simple. A very young child – say 3 years old could even help with this – apart from the slicing of the banana of course. I must confess I sorta stared at your photo of the Wal-Mart isle. I don’t necessarily miss Wal-Mart -until I see those big wide lanes and think about the convenience! Definitely one of the trade-offs for living overseas!
Sara Phillips says
I think even a 3 year old could slice the banana with a butter or plastic knife, right?
Allison says
Sounds like a great treat for when the kids are craving something sweet but you want to eliminate too much sugar. Plus, it’s easy for them to help, too!

How yummy and clever! My kids snack non-stop and summer can be exhausting to keep up with so many snacks, these are perfect.

How creative you are! A great change from just the ‘jello’ type snack! And a little healthier with the added fruit!
Avry says
I like the idea of adding items to the jell-o! Fresh fruit is always a good choice to get the kids to eat more fruit.

Great idea, adds some extra nutrition!
