**Full Disclosure: I received two jars of pie filling and a jar of preserves from Grandma Hoerner’s for review purposes. No other compensation was exchanged. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
My husband and kids love poptarts, but I don’t really care for the store-bought varieties. But these are awesome! These poptarts are easy to make, not overly sweet and you can change the fruit flavor to anything your heart desires!
Spiced Peach Poptarts #Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 boxes of store bought Pie Crust
- 1 jar Spiced Peach Grandma Hoerner's Pie Filling
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425.
-
Use cookie cutters to cut two different sized circles. (I used 5 1/4" and 4 1/4" circles.)
-
Put the bigger circle on the bottom, fill with about 1 1/2 spoonfuls of pie filling and place the smaller circle on the top.
-
Fold the edges of the bigger circle into the smaller to make a seal.
-
Bake for 16-19 minutes.
-
Let cool for about 5 minutes.
-
ENJOY!!
Recipe Notes
I used store-brand refrigerated pie crusts for these, but I'd use homemade if I had time!
If you make them, I’d love to hear how they turned out!

I don’t have much space to make my own pie crusts, but I do a few times a year, and I freeze “mini” crusts, so these would be a great way to use them.

I don’t have the space to make my own crust either, that’s why I used store-bought.
