10/2/2014 Update!  Canned food discount option:  One can per general admission can be donated for a $1 off.  The donated food will benefit the Medina County Food Pantry in Hondo.  The South Texas Maize has donated since 2001 and it helps the food pantry provide food for needy families through the month of July.  In 2013, over 12,000 cans were donated!
