At the end of a draining day, my ‘me-time’ treat is almost always an ice cold Coke. It’s delicious when I enjoy it by myself, but when I Share a Coke {float} with a friend it’s a little better because of the conversation that comes with it!
Last weekend I headed up to Walmart so I could check out the Share it Forward in-store demo and pick up the Coke and ice cream I needed for Coke floats.
There wasn’t anyone behind the booth, but there was an employee in front of the demo station handing out cans of Coke to those that wanted them. My can said ‘Share a Coke with a LEGEND’! Of course, the ‘LEGEND’ I shared with was my husband as we walked through the store.
Did you know that the 20 ounce Coke bottles (Coke, Coke Zero or Diet Coke) have names on the bottles? It’s really fun to see names on the bottles! I haven’t found ‘Sara’ yet, but I know it’s out there and I’ll keep looking!
After the demo, I grabbed a couple of bottles that said ‘Share a Coke with Friends.’ Then the husband and I put vanilla ice cream, maraschino cherries and some new Coke glasses in our cart. The kids asked for chocolate sprinkles, but I turned them down. They weren’t sure what we were doing yet.
When we got home I promised James he could try the Coke float if he helped me make them.
I scooped the ice cream, while he dropped two cherries and some juice in each cup. I showed James how to pour the Coke slowly over the ice cream and he made the second glass.
It was fun to share the Coke float experience with James! He said he liked the sweet treat. I am sure we will do it again! But most of the Coke I have will be mine for the after bedtime ‘ME’ treat.
How do you Share a Coke?

Love these personalized Cokes! We haven’t gotten any yet! We’ll have to see if we can find the whole family. We also haven’t done any floats yet this summer! This week sometime!

These are so neat! I know I won’t find my name on them because it is so oddly spelled but I may find my son’s name and he would love it.
