**Full Disclosure: This is a sponsored post as part of the Shaklee Corporation blogger program. I have received free products, online support and incentives for participating in the Shaklee Corporation blogger program. My thoughts and opinions are mine. I am also a Shaklee Independent Distributor.
People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180™ Program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.
Everything I’d read, heard and seen told me that if I lost weight too quickly, it would come back and probably bring more with it. So when I started my weight loss journey (one year ago this month), I was set on not losing too quickly. And I didn’t.
For the last 6 months, I’ve been using Shaklee180. My {very loose} goal was to lose 30 pounds with Shaklee. I didn’t reach that, and while I haven’t been losing very quickly, but I am happy with what I’ve done. I know the number on the scale will continue to decline. And when (not if) I reach my goal weight, hopefully the extra pounds will know better than to come back.
While on the Shaklee180 program, I lost 8.8 pounds and five inches! The inch & weight loss might not be huge, but I feel better about myself and that’s a good place to be. Also, I can SEE a difference in the mirror and I can feel it in my clothes. I’ve already purchased a bra and pants that are one size smaller!
A friend and I (finally) started kickboxing at the beginning of the month. While I hate it, I also kind of love it. Saturday mornings are my favorite – I find it’s easier to get up and get it done than it is to go at 6:30 on a weeknight. And, I think part of my weight/inch gain (from July to August) is thanks to kickboxing. I can feel the muscle forming!
Here is a comparison from the first month to the last:
Again, it’s not a huge loss (yet) but I can see it!! Thanks, Shaklee, for keeping me accountable!!
I think Shaklee180 has great products, but I lack self-discipline (when it comes to eating) and I wasn’t nearly as strict to the program as I should have been. If you can keep yourself on the plan, I say DO IT!
What drives you to lose weight? How do you keep it off?

Thank you!
Congrats on your success.
Thank you 🙂
I definitely see it too!!
Progress is progress! You’re doing great!
I can tell the difference in photos! 8.8 is a great accomplishment and you’ll only find more success sticking with kick boxing!
You can see a real difference in the side by side photos. I went crazy fast with mine. In 2 months I had lost 20 pounds. But then it leveled off and I only lost 8 pounds the last 4 months.
I’m sorry you didn’t reach your goal, but your attitude is great! Any weight loss is a good thing. Congrats on what you did loose!
You can see a difference! Congrats! Also on the kickboxing. I love that. You look great!
It’s all about how you feel yourself — don’t let the number on the scale change how you feel inside! I’m all about judging on how my clothes fit — and you lost 5 inches! Great work!!
I see a definite difference in your face – congrats on the weight loss!
I definitely see a difference & I think you look great! Any loss is a good loss in my book, and you’re right, you have to do it the right way or it’ll come right back!
Congrats on the weight loss!! I can see a difference.
