Schlotzsky’s Handcarved Ribeye Steak {through 12/28}

Last month Schlotzsky’s unveiled a new line – Hand-Carved Ribeye Steak!  I had the opportunity to try a variety of items from the new line.  It was difficult, but I decided to pick up the Chophouse Steak Wrap, Steak & Bacon Smokecheezy Sandwich and the Hand-Carved Ribeye Steak Flatbread for my family and I to sample.

The Chophouse Steak Wrap:

Tender hand-carved ribeye steak, roasted tomatoes, fried onions, bleu cheese crumbles, dried cranberries and field greens wrapped in a hearty grain tortilla with your choice of dressing. 

The wrap was delicious!  I loved how the dried cranberries and bleu cheese crumbles meshed with steak.

The Steak & Bacon Smokecheezy Sandwich:

Tender hand-carved ribeye steak, sliced bacon, roasted red peppers and smoked cheddar cheese topped with Southwest chipotle mayo served oven-baked on a fresh-from-scratch sourdough bun.

My boys shared this sandwich – each kid had half.  They thought it was good and ate the whole thing.  It looked appetizing, but neither of my boys wanted to share!

The Hand-Carved Ribeye Steak Flatbread:

Tender hand-carved ribeye steak, bacon, roasted bell peppers, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, roasted tomatoes, green onion, bleu cheese crumbles, mayo and topped with Andouille cream sauce.

The flatbread was very tasty, but there wasn’t enough cheese for my liking.   Also, the ingredients didn’t reach the edges of the flatbread so I couldn’t enjoy all the bites I took.

Schlotzsky’s will have the Hand-Carved Ribeye Steak line until 12/28.  Make sure you stop in and sample something!
