**Full Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. All opinions are my own.
I like to eat my food off CLEAN dishes. If they are even slightly dirty (or streaky/spotted), my food looks less appetizing and I don’t enjoy it. My dishwasher is from about 1872 … it’s ancient. Since we moved into this house, it’s never really ever worked well. So, I wash all my dishes by hand and then run them through the dishwasher. Before the Cascade Platinum Pacs, my dishes often came out of the machine dirtier than they went in, but I was buying an inexpensive brand of dishwasher detergent.
I’ve been using Cascade Platinum Pacs for a little over a week now, and I’m impressed!
Four Reasons I Like Cascade Platinum Pacs:
1) They are super easy to use! Open the package, pull one pac out, throw it in the main part of your dishwasher and run it like normal.
2) My dishes come out of the dishwasher incredibly clean – and without spots or streaks.
3) The smell (or lack there of). It’s not a bad thing. I am picky with smelly detergents, and I love that Cascade Platinum Pacs do not leave a smell on my dishes! **Note: The Cascade Platinum Pacs come in Fresh and Lemon Burst. I have only tried the Fresh version.
4) I take food photos ALL the time (and hopefully you enjoy them!), so using dishes that are free of spots and streaks is incredibly important to me! Cascade Platinum Pacs make my job a little easier!
Cascade© Platinum Pacs feature an advanced triple action recipe that is specially designed to leave dishware virtually spot-free and help prevent the build-up of hard-water film on dishwasher walls.*
Cascade© Platinum Pacs are sold in 14, 23 and 43 count packages for $4.29, $6.69 and $12.49, repectively.
Now, more than ever, people eat with their eyes, and the evidence is all over sites like Facebook and Instagram. With that in mind, Top Chef judge and editor of Food+Wine magazine, Gail Simmons, has partnered with Cascade to discuss why presentation is just as important as preparation.
- From prep to plating: It’s more than just a great-tasting recipe, but also perfect presentation. Sparkling dishes, shining flat ware and spot-free glasses truly let you put your best food forward with culinary creations that pop!
- Gail recommends impressing with a Platinum Presentation: “The easiest recipes pop with unexpected, gourmet presentations. Drizzle bright sauces on sparkling white plates or layer desserts in crystal-clean glassware. Keep your presentation sparkling with Cascade Platinum, which keeps dishes perfect for anytime entertaining and impromptu guests.”
