If you have been following along, we started a toy storage project in August (I know – it’s been almost 3 months!) and we have finally completed (and installed) the first half!! You can view progress pictures here.
The second one shouldn’t take long. It’s all cut to size and routed, it just needs to be glued, screwed and nailed together. Then we will sand it down and move it into the playroom.
So, now that we are “DONE” with this project – I would LOVE your opinion …
To paint (or stain) … that is the question!
Do you like it rustic and as-is? Or would it look better painted?

WAY TO FREAKIN’ GO!!!!!

Thank you!! I LOVE this thing!!

That looks great!! And what a useful storage solution, it fits everything so well. I bet you are so glad to get all that stuff off the floor and where you can see it.
I personally think it would look great painted. Do two colors, and it will give it personality and make it a piece of art 🙂

We were talking about putting a laminate or something on top and then painting the outside (leaving the inside of the cubbies the way they are). Thanks so much!

Yay! It looks awesome!! (wanna come build one for us now, that’s exactly what we need.) I think you should paint it a color on the outside and a different on the inside!

Thank you!! We decided to build because I just couldn’t find what I wanted! What do you think – brown and green to match the camo curtains?
