I’ve had issues with mild acne since I was a teenager. I thought all those pimples would go away once I turned twenty … and then thirty … but they didn’t. In fact, I feel like most of the time my mild acne is worse now than it was fifteen years ago! It’s tough to be an adult with acne problems. For me, acne makes me feel insecure about how my skin looks.
I’ve tried a large variety of skin care products and none of them seemed to work for me. Some products make my acne worse, some make my face itch and others make my skin red. I know that changing skin care products can make your acne worse to start with, but then it should start to heal and remove the pimples. That didn’t happen for me with that particular treatment. About six weeks ago, I started using Proactiv+. Here’s my before photo:
It took about a week to get used to the three step process. But I really like how Proactiv+ has made my skin feel and look! My face seems to be a little brighter but I still see blemishes. Granted, the pimples aren’t as glaring as they were before. I am feeling more confident in my own skin which makes helps me to feel more attractive. I am taking the time to put on make-up and do my hair. I actually look at myself in the mirror rather than a glance here or there.

I have never used ProActiv. But I think it really works and would help my son I would love for my son to try it and see how he likes it! It really worked on your skin!
I haven’t used it and don’t see that I would have a need for it. I have passed my 30’s and now am looking for things along the line of wrinkle cream. 🙁
Dang Sara that is a huge difference. Just the actual texture of your face, not even pimples, looks better. More smooth, healthy.

My son is nearly 13, and he’s been having a few skim problems lately. I was wondering about Proactive and how it would work on him.
I’ve never used it but my sister in law does. When she does use it, it works pretty good for her, as well as a couple of teens I know.
I kind of thought ProActiv was mainly for teens. I’m so happy to be mistaken. I’d love to improve my skin too, so this sounds like a great route for me.
I’ve always heard such great things about Proactiv. And I can definitely tell a difference in the after picture.
I love proactive! It has helped my husband and I both.
I have tried it in the past, but I didn’t experience any noticeable results. However, I do know that it has worked for many, many people! It’s true that what may not work for some, will work for others. 🙂

I haven’t ever used it, but I have thought about it for my Teen a couple times. Her skin goes from CRAZY acne to perfectly fine… then back to crazy breakouts again. We have to find something that works.
I love Proactive products, my skin is so much clearer! My whole family uses it.
I’ve heard of Proactive before and have seen the commercials. I think my daughter could benefit from these products.
