**Full Disclosure: I received a couple of clothing pieces from prAna for review purposes. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
I have always been a huge fan of shoes. Clothes, not so much, mostly because I don’t care for how they fit my body shape (especially when it was larger than my current size). But after spending way too much time browsing their website, I ordered two different prAna pieces to make a flexible outfit. Now that I’ve worn them for a bit, I’m ready to order so much more because they are simply amazing.
My First prAna Pieces:
prAna Yvonna Tee –
For my top, I picked the Yvonna Tee in black. I had a hard time deciding on a color though, since they are all so pretty! The tee is $69 and comes in five sizes and colors – oatmeal, white, crushed cran, starling green and black. The Yvonna Tee is made with organic cotton and a recycled polyester blend.
prAna Mantra Pant –
I decided on the Mantra Pant in cobblestone for my pants. When they arrived, they were about 8 inches longer than they needed to be for my height so I hemmed them up. With highs in the 90’s with at least 50% humidity for the last couple of weeks, I really didn’t want to wear them. I finally got around to putting them on and I fell in love! They were incredibly comfortable and kept me just as cool as the shorts I otherwise would have worn. The pants are $79 and come in four colors – oatmeal, black herringbone, cargo green and coal. The Mantra Pant is made of Sutra® hemp, a recycled polyester blend, a little bit of spandex and has an elastic waistband.

Pros and Cons to Buying prAna:
Pros:
- They wash well.
- Neither of my pieces were overly wrinkly after traveling.
- The fabrics are insanely comfortable.
- Many of their items contain a UPF (ultraviolet protection factor).
Cons:
- While prAna’s clothes are mindfully made, they are a little too pricey for me.
- There isn’t a plus-size section of clothes.
