Ozeri Gen II Digital Scale {#Review #Giveaway}

Every one needs a scale … a GOOD scale.  I have a crummy $5 scale in the boys’ bathroom and it never gets used because it’s CRUMMY!  When my mother-in-law was here a few months ago, she discovered the batteries were dead.  I didn’t replace them.  Why should I?  The new batteries would cost more than the scale is worth.

Then, something spectacular happened!  Ozeri sent me the Gen II Digital Multifunction Scale.  It was love at first sight!  Not only is this scale beautiful, but it measures your weight, body fat, and body water.  In addition, you can program up to EIGHT user profiles!!

Set up was super easy!   I pulled the scale out of the box, put in the batteries, set up profiles for my husband and I (probably 5 minutes?) and it was ready to use!

         

Warning!  Because the scale is made of high-tempered glass, it is slippery when it’s wet!!

What I love:

  • The ease of use.  Seriously, you just push a button (to find your profile) and then step on.  E-A-S-Y!
  • The scale comes with batteries! (It requires two CR2032 batteries.)
  • The scale has a low battery indicator (“LO”).
  • The Gen II is very reasonably priced for what it does.  (ARV $69.99)
What I would change:
  • The scale doesn’t go below age 10, I would allow it to go as young as 2.  (In the warning section, it does state that the scale is not intended for children or pregnant women.)
  • I would allow the scale to be stored on its side – it’s much more convenient that way.
