You may have read that I am walking a 5K in December. You may have also read that I am determined to lose 30 lbs by February. I had downloaded the Endomondo app to my phone, but walking with my phone is not always practical. So when Omron sent me the HJ-322 Pedometer, I was excited to put it to work!
What I like:
- It’s relatively small and is easily hidden on my jeans or bra strap!
- You don’t HAVE to use the clip. But it is easy to clip it and forget it.
- I love the battery saving mode! You may think it’s not counting, but it IS! And, it’s really easy to activate the screen again.
- Watching how many steps I take makes me want to increase it every day. For me, this pedometer is equivalent to motivation.
- I like being able to compare the last 7 days worth of steps (or mileage) on the device.
What I’d change:
- I would like to see a better clip. Some days I have a difficult time clipping the pedometer to my clothes.
- I set up my pedometer at about 4:30pm on the day I got it, so the 24 hour clock on mine is from 4:30pm – 4:30am. That’s probably me. User error!
- Determining my Stride Length was confusing. And I am still not sure I did it correctly!
Would I recommend the HJ-322U? YES! Absolutely! The pros far out-weigh the cons.
