A few weeks ago I applied for the Mamavation & Omron Fitness #iHeartOmron challenge and then forgot about it. As the selection date was getting closer, there were more and more posts in my Facebook feed about it. And then Friday, January 4th, the announcement was made, and I was on the list!!!! I was (and AM) so giddy!
So, here we go!! Starting January 13 and continuing for 30 days, I’ll be working out 5 days a week while wearing my Omron 323-U Pedometer. I have the Omron 322-U Pedometer, so comparing them will be fun for me!
I will also get to put the Omron 510W Scale to the test! I have a scale. But my husband hates it. He says it isn’t accurate since it tells him one number and the scale at the doctor’s office is 10 pounds less. I don’t have that problem, the scale is the same for me at home and at the doctor’s office. (We have the same doctor, so that isn’t the problem. I think it’s {his} user error! π ) I am excited to see what the Omron 510W Scale does!
Last (but not least) I will receive the new Strapless Heart Rate Monitor (HR-5ooU). I can’t tell you how thrilled I am about the strapless heart rate monitor! It seems like a really cool device.
I am not excited about it, but here’s the before picture:

Good Luck Sara…my best piece of advice is what has worked for me over the years, is keeping a workout diary…as sometimes you will find that it is not about the pounds, it is how you feel, your energy level and as your sense of accomplishment as you look back and see the amount of time or miles you have logged.
